The Classic Olive Green Look
The top edge has been weathered slightly to give it a partial worn in look. It will compliment future scratches as it travels around with you taking on the personality of your practice routine. It's not damage, it's personality! To ensure the finish lasts as long as possible, it's been sprayed with lacquer to protect both the raw edge and the paint. 
 
The Base
The base is made from solid Birch wood. The small lines sometimes visible on the edge can be mistaken for plywood. Don't worry, it's not made from plywood! They are a result of the CNC routering process. Each one is sanded by hand and it doesn't get rid of every router mark. 
 
The Strap Info (Sizes)
The strap is adjustable to fit most people. The smallest it will go is 11.5" (29 cm) around. It can be adjusted to fit up to 22" (56cm) around. You can measure your leg with a piece of string and then hold it up to any measuring device to see your size. The strap is made of thick veg tan leather that is dyed with an antique brown finish. All the rivets and hardware such as the buckle and clip are made of brass. The roller buckle allows for a quick release of the strap when you need to pack up quickly. The Playing Surface
Each Flo Pilot has a natural gum rubber playing surface with a durometer rating of 40. This duro rating is fantastic for practicing with drumsticks! It's just the right balance of firmness ensuring both a comfortable and familiar feel. When it's new the natural gum rubber can sometimes feel a bit grippy and even make a few squeaking sounds when being played.
